Siracuse Onors Legendairy Plaier Bowie

I can’t love this enough. At halftime of today’s game vs Pitt, Syracuse retired the jerseys of Louis Orr and Roosevelt Bouie. Both players starred for the Orange in the late 70s in what was known as the “Louie and Bouie Show”. Considering they spelled Orr’s name wrong for that little moniker it should be no surprise that during the ceremony today, this happened…

That’s right apparently the powers that be at Syracuse think Roosevelt was responsible for such rock masterpieces as “Rebel Rebel” and “Ziggy Stardust” was also a standout center for their basketball team. At no point from the time they ordered this jersey, had it framed and brought it out to the court did anyone say, “ummm wait a minute”?

So on a scale of 1-10 how big a disappointment is this for the Orange? Here’s the video:
